Ghuring Firing

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Arranging travel means handling personal details: names, passports, phone numbers. This policy explains what Ghuringfiring collects when you use this website or book with us, what we do with it, who else sees it, and the choices you have.

In short

  • We collect only what an enquiry, a booking or a visa application needs.
  • We share it only with the suppliers and authorities your booking involves, and we never sell it.
  • Card and wallet details are handled by the payment gateway and are never stored on our systems.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses this website, sends us an enquiry, creates an account or makes a booking with Ghuringfiring, whether online, by phone or at our office. It also covers the people you book for: when you give us the details of other travellers, you confirm that you have their permission to do so.

Ghuringfiring decides how this information is used and is responsible for it. Our contact details are at the foot of this page.

2. What we collect

We collect information in three ways: you give it to us, it is created when you use the site, or it reaches us from a company involved in your booking.

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and, where a booking needs it, your postal address.
  • Traveller details: date of birth, nationality, passport or NID number and expiry date, for each person named on a booking that requires them.
  • Visa documents: the passport copies, photographs, bank statements and supporting papers you upload or hand to us for an application.
  • Booking details: what you booked, the dates, the travellers, special requests, and any dietary, medical or mobility needs you tell us about.
  • Payment records: the amount, date, method and transaction reference of each payment. Not your card number, card PIN, OTP or wallet PIN.
  • Account details: your email address and an encrypted form of your password, or the name and email address Google sends us if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Messages: what you write to us in enquiry and contact forms, by email or in chat.
  • Usage information: the pages you visit, the device and browser you use and your approximate location, collected through analytics where it is switched on.

3. How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • To make, confirm, change and cancel bookings, and to issue tickets, vouchers and invoices.
  • To prepare and lodge visa applications you ask us to handle.
  • To take payments, issue refunds and keep the accounts the law requires of us.
  • To contact you about a booking: confirmations, schedule changes, reminders and anything that affects your trip.
  • To keep your account, saved packages and booking history available when you sign in.
  • To understand how the website is used so that we can fix problems and improve it.
  • To prevent fraud and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We send offers and travel news only where you have asked for them, and every such message tells you how to stop it.

4. Who we share it with

A booking cannot be made without passing your details to the companies that provide it. We share what each of them needs for that purpose, and nothing more.

  • Airlines and flight ticketing partners, for the passengers on a flight booking.
  • Hotels, resorts, ship and cruise operators, transport providers and local guides, for the travellers they will be looking after.
  • Embassies, consulates and their appointed visa centres, for a visa application.
  • Payment gateways, banks and mobile wallet providers, to process a payment or a refund.
  • Government bodies, where a permit is required for a protected area or where the law obliges us to disclose information.
  • Companies that provide our hosting, email and analytics, which handle information on our instructions.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Information sent outside Bangladesh

An international trip means your details travel too: to the airline, the hotel and the immigration authority of the country you are visiting. Some of the services we use to run this website also store information on servers outside Bangladesh. By booking international travel with us you accept that your details will be sent where the booking requires.

6. Payment information

Online payments are made on the pages of a licensed payment gateway or mobile wallet, not on ours. Your card number, expiry date, security code and wallet PIN go directly to that provider and never reach our systems. We receive only confirmation of the payment and its reference.

Nobody from our team will ever ask you for a card PIN, an OTP or a wallet PIN, by phone, email or message.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This website stores a small amount of information in your browser so that it works: your sign-in, so that you stay signed in between pages, and a copy of the site settings, so that pages load faster on your next visit. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Where analytics is switched on, the analytics provider sets cookies that tell us which pages are visited and how visitors reach us. These reports are about visits in aggregate, not about you by name. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without losing any part of the site.

8. How long we keep it

We keep booking, invoice and payment records for as long as tax and company law require. Visa documents are kept until the application is decided and any follow-up is complete, and are then removed from our working files.

An enquiry that does not become a booking is kept only for as long as it is useful in answering you. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account.

9. How we protect it

  • This website and our booking system are served only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • Passwords are stored in an encrypted form that we cannot read back.
  • Access to customer records is limited to the staff who need it to do their work.
  • Uploaded documents are stored privately and are not reachable from the public website.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever learn that your information has been exposed, we will tell you promptly and say what we are doing about it.

10. Your choices

Write to us from the email address or phone number on your booking, and we will act on any of the following.

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your account and your information, where no legal or tax obligation requires us to keep it.
  • Stop receiving offers and newsletters at any time.

We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that nobody else can request or delete your information.

11. Children

Bookings are made by adults. Where a trip includes a traveller under 18, we collect that child’s details from their parent or guardian and use them only for the booking. We do not knowingly accept accounts or enquiries from children.

12. Links to other websites

This website links to other sites, such as payment pages, maps and social networks. What those sites collect is governed by their own policies, not this one.

13. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do with personal information changes. The date at the top of this page says when it last changed, and a significant change is also announced on this website.
